Both of these papers can be found in the Village at various locations, in Alpine at the Alpine Meadows Market and Meadow Park Sports Centre, and in Creekside at the Husky Station, Creekside Grocery and Food Plus.
Notice Boards
Sometimes if you are looking by yourself for accomodation, chances are there are houses or condos full of roommates looking for just one or two extra people. Check bulletin boards around town and you may find a quick solution.
In Creekside, there are often listings outside the Food Plus and Husky Station. In the Village, try Moguls (beside the pharmacy at Village Square) or the Gone Bakery (inside near Armchair Books, adjacent to the Grocery Store at Village Square). Also check the Nesters shopping area for more notices. In Alpine, try the Alpine Meadows Market and the Meadow Park Sports Centre.
The WHA has general listings provided by landlords requiring tenants in the private market. This rental list is updated regularly and can be viewed on the Available Rental Listings section of this website.
Word of Mouth
If all else fails, it doesn't hurt to ask around. Often good accomadation in Whistler never reaches the local papers. Local residents will often be able to give you a lead on a place for rent or put you in touch with people who are looking or other people who need roommates.
